Chefs Pascal Chureau and Ian Ragsdale share a love of the fresh, seasonal ingredients of the Pacific Northwest, and their eateries, Allium Bistro, Lark Café, and Field & Vine Events, are based on their close relationships with local Willamette Valley farmers and purveyors.
The Allium Bistro, offering New American and European cuisine, opened in 2010, proving the inspiration for the Dinner in the Field series, which followed a few years later. “We embraced that farm to table philosophy with the restaurant. I fell in love with the local farms and local wineries,” said Chef Pascal.
Dinner in the Field revolves around 6-7-course, family-style dinners utilizing ingredients from the host and surrounding farms, paired with exciting Oregon wines. Set in scenic vineyards and farms, events are set in barns, fields, and vineyards, with special accommodations for seasonal weather changes and social distance requirements.
Dining begins at 5:30 during summer months, and 5:00pm September-December to savor the daylight hours.
