 Read below for tips on the information you’ll want to have on hand prior to adding your business to The Local Dish, Oregon’s Craft Food and Drink Guide.

The Local Dish editorial team will verify and edit business information to meet our editorial standards.

Business Name

Names should be specific to how an average person would refer to your business. Enter keywords and taglines in the designated fields.

Category

Listed below are the key categories in the directory. You will be able to choose your preferred categories when you Submit Your Listing.

  • Bars (wine, cocktail, or craft beer bars)

  • Coffee roasters
  • Distilleries
  • Farms, ranches and CSA’s

Phone Number (format: (area code) xxx-xxxx)

The phone number on your business listing should be a direct local phone number.

Your Website (https://www.yourbusiness.com)

The website address field (url) on your listing page is intended to direct The Local Dish visitors to your business’s website. If you do not have a business website, you may use the full url address of your Facebook business page.

Address

Business listings on The Local Dish are designed to represent your individual and separate locations. In order for our geo-location software to display your listing to users, enter the full address you would like listed in the directory.

If your business lacks a retail location (such as a food truck, home-based or commercial kitchen business), these listings require a city, state and ZIP code. Residential addresses are allowed in these cases if the business owner prefers.

Hours (format: 9:00am-5:00pm)

Enter your normal operating hours in an average week that are shown on your business’ website, social media or print material.

If your business does not receive customers at your place of operation, you may enter “By appointment only” in the “Hours” field.

Photos

Maximum upload size is 180kb per image in landscape format. Business owner may upload the maximum number of images consistent with listing level. To represent your business as well as possible, avoid blurry images, stock photos, and logos. If uploading interior and exterior photos of your business location, make sure the areas are well lit.
