Situated on the banks of both the Little Applegate River and Yale Creek, ByGeorge Farm and Creamery began as a sustainable 86-acre organic farm in 2008, and now stands as one of Southern Oregon’s most popular, and productive, farmstead creameries.

With an intentional focus on land stewardship, owner/operators Jonny Steiger and Tyson Fehrman now have a growing herd of grass-fed Jersey cows and land that is organic and salmon-safe certified. The cows get local no-spray, no-GMO alfalfa and hay from the farm as supplement. Sustainability practices include feeding the milk whey to their chickens, thereby reducing the waste that has to be removed from the farm and creating a lower carbon footprint with their egg production.

Their handcrafted fresh and aged cheeses can be found in retail locations along the West coast and at Southern Oregon farmers markets. They also produce raw milk, organic produce, flowers and herbs, free range pork and poultry, and grass fed beef.

Coquette Bakery creates french-inspired breakfast pastries, cakes, tarts, and artisan breads at their restored  historic  property,  Two Creeks Heritage Farm. Every loaf and pastry is handmade by co-owner and baker, Denika Voget, in their high-end commercial kitchen located at the farm. They incorporate organic herbs, fruits, and vegetables grown right on the property.

Their products can be found at Southern Oregon farmers markets March to November, and at local retail shops such as Cartwrights Medford and Fry Family Farm Store in Medford, and Rogue Creamery in Central Point. Deliveries to those locations generally occur by opening time.

Ashland Wine Cellar is Ashland and Oregon’s Oldest Wine Shop, Since 1980.

We showcase an extensive selection of hand-picked, vintage-conscious wines, micro-beers, and fine cigars. Our shop is stocked with wines that are a bit “harder to find”, such as boutique Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs, Grower Champagnes, and Barolos. We also carry a wide array of Southern Oregon’s finest producers, top shelf California Cabs, and an intriguing set of imports.

Our under $20 red and white wine selections are popular with our customers.

We offer local delivery and shipping to reciprocal states. Locals and travelers enjoy our wine tastings held every Thursday from 4:30pm-6:30pm, First Friday Free Flights (5:00pm-7:00pm), and other special tasting events. These are a relaxing way to discover what pleases your palate and learn vineyard and winemaking practices directly from producers.

Wine explorers can now take advantage of our Wine Club, featuring hard-to-find wines from boutique wineries and limited releases from across the state, with a special focus on Southern Oregon wineries.

For locals, our Taste of Oregon Wine Club offers a 2 bottle pick-up at our monthly 2nd Saturday release party at Ashland Wine Cellar, and a free tasting on that day for club members only.

Luna Cafe and Mercantile is a farm-to-counter eatery with great tastes and treats for the whole family! All you oenophiles out there, gather round. The Urban Cork is Medford’s hip wine tasting bar, featuring more than 50 custom wines handcrafted by owner and longtime winemaker, Linda Donovan. Visitors have unparalleled access to almost 90 outstanding varietals that represent the wines of her more than 25 winery clients, and her own label, L. Donovan Wines. Tasters will experience viogniers and tempranillos to more unusual selections like touriga nacional and müller-thurgau. Wines are available for purchase by bottle or case in the tasting room, as well as through The Urban Cork Wine Club.

All wines are produced on site at Pallet Wine Company, her adjacent 21,000 sq. ft. urban winery custom crush facility, and are poured in the tasting room. Tailored to the needs of her small-scale vineyard and winery clients, these are truly local…grown and harvested from Ashland to Roseburg, and they express the terroir of their respective viticulture regions. 

In addition to grapes grown locally in Medford, Ashland, Jacksonville, the Applegate Valley and the surrounding areas, they also process and bottle wines from producers in the Illinois Valley, Central Oregon, the Willamette Valley, and Umpqua Valley.

Tasting and glass offerings are rotated frequently to ensure a unique experience. For wine lovers, The Urban Cork is a convenient starting or finishing point on your adventure of the local and regional wine scene, a gathering place for locals and visitors to unite over a great glass of wine, a venue for local music and events, and a center for wine education.

At Buttercloud Bakery & Cafe, an artisan bakery and restaurant co-owned by Ellen and Gibson Holub, the focus is on scratch-made food using high-quality ingredients. Located just one block from the weekly farmers market, the cafe sources organic produce and farm products from local farmers. The local theme continues with their use of everything from Rogue Creamery cheese and Siskiyou Honey Bees honey to locally roasted Evans Valley Roasting coffee beans and dark chocolate mocha syrup from Lillie Belle Farms.

Talk to any Butterpal (aka their bakery fans) and you’ll hear kudos about the menu item that made Buttercloud a favored destination: “breakfast & lunch sandwiches on housemade buttermilk biscuits.” Customer favorites include The Farmhouse (Fried egg, bacon, tomato and basil aioli) and Chicken & Chile (Chicken breast, cilantro mayo, roasted poblano pepper, Tillamook pepper jack cheese and tomato). The cafe also offers breakfast plates such as the Smoked Salmon Scramble, French Toast made with their biscuits and a healthy Kale and Avocado Breakfast Salad (topped with eggs).

Lunch offerings include sandwiches featuring beef brisket & pulled pork, scratch-made soups and a smoky Mac and Cheese. Make sure to save room for dessert, as they always have a selection of delectable desserts by the slice daily! Whole cakes are also available by pre-order only.
