With the crisp crunch of leaves on the ground, we may look up at the trees bearing pome fruit. Lustrous fields of apples and pears thrive in the cold and rain, preparing for a harvest that bears the Pacific Northwest’s our favorite ciders, pies, juices and other favorite fall delicacies.
Four appears the magic number in this week’s menu at Botanist, a gastro cocktail bar: we will be presenting four pears and four apples in — you guessed it — four very different ways, as we aim to bring out the contrasting colors, textures, and flavors this variety of amazing fruits has to offer.
