PLAZA DEL TORO is moving from SE Water to 1203 NW Glisan Street in Portland’s Pearl District with a First Thursday kickoff party open to the public on February 6th, 2020 at 7PM.

Local wine and spirits will be available to purchase from our full bar featuring local distillers such as Aria Gin and some of our favorite local winemakers who will be on-site and mingling. pFriem Family Brewers Pilsner will be available from a firkin and Sidra Trabanco poured from a barrel while supplies last.
DJ Jimbo will be spinning records for this party that kicks off PLAZA DEL TORO’s new First Thursday event series where each month we offer a unique culinary experience that highlights a charitable organization working to make our community a better place. A portion of proceeds from this event benefit p:ear, a Portland nonprofit mentoring Portland’s homeless youth to affirm personal worth and create healthier lives and communities.
PLAZA DEL TORO is a private event space, gastronomic society, and modern test kitchen created by restaurateur John Gorham of Portland’s celebrated Toro Bravo, Tasty n Daughters, Tasty N Alder, Mediterranean Exploration Company, Shalom Y’all Restaurant SE, Shalom Y’all Israeli Street Food SW, Bless Your Heart Burgers 33rd Ave and Bless Your Heart Burgers in Pine Street Market. Gorham envisioned a space where he and his staff could have unconstrained culinary creativity as they develop new recipes for his properties, as well as experiment with new and innovative dinner concepts inspired by the legendary Portland supper club that Gorham founded, Simpatica, and the gastronomic societies of San Sebastian, Spain.
