Held annually in November, Willamette Farm & Food Coalition’s Fill Your Pantry event is a unique opportunity to stock up on staple and storage crops in bulk directly from area farmers. Buying and storing local crops is a tangible way you can support our small farms and save money on delicious local foods all winter.
This year in particular, Fill Your Pantry is a crucial opportunity to support local farmers who may have lost revenue due to COVID-19 or from wildfires. It’s also a great chance to build up your food stores in the event of future emergencies. Read on for more details on how this year’s modified event will work!
This year, Fill Your Pantry will be in a drive-through format to allow for social distancing.
ALL SALES WILL BE PRE-ORDER ONLY. We will not offer day-of sales this year.
Customers must pre-order online with credit/debit or EBT at https://wffc.localfoodmarketplace.com/Products from October 1 – 31, then pick up your orders during your assigned time slot on November 15th, between 8 AM and 3 PM, directly from your farmers.
We encourage combining orders with your friends and neighbors for easy pick-up. Due to COVID-19, we have adopted safety protocols that all vendors, volunteers, and customers will follow. Do not attend the event if you are sick or have a fever. Please wear a mask and stay in your vehicle. Vendors and volunteers will load your orders for you.
