I know. You probably thought this post was going to be about smoothies or juicing, right? Well, we took a left turn with Beet Week towards summer cocktails. They’re getting a lot of attention and creative juice from mixologists who are looking to raise the bar, so to speak.

 

Chefs are no longer the only culinarians taking full advantage of their local bounty.  Front of house is now queuing up crafty combos by pairing local seasonal produce with favorite spirits like tequila and vodka.
